Javed Ahmad Tak
Chairman

Javed a Padma Awardee is a visionary Professional Social Worker, dedicated to make a lasting impact on the lives of marginalized individuals, especially Persons with Disabilities. He is the founder of the Humanity Welfare Organisation Helpline Bijbehara, focused on providing comprehensive support to the communities across the region.

Javed has built the organization from the ground up, ensuring it serves as a vital lifeline for Persons with Disabilities, ranging from Education and Rehabilitation for Children with Disabilities to generating livelihood opportunities and other services to Persons with Disabilities.

Javed’s unwavering commitment to Social Welfare and Inclusion has led him to actively engage in advocacy, both at National and International platforms, pushing for the rights and betterment of Persons with Disabilities. His efforts have earned recognition for his pioneering work in promoting equality, dignity, and access to services.

Javed continues to inspire and drive change, offering a model of compassion and resilience to help transform lives.


Aadil Rashid Vaid
Gen Secretary

Aadil has been an invaluable member of the Humanity Welfare Organisation Helpline Bijbehara for over two decades. His journey with the organization began as a volunteer, where his passion for serving humanity and his dedication to the cause quickly became evident. Over the time, Aadil transitioned to teaching computer education to children, empowering them with essential digital skills and opening new doors for their future.

His unwavering commitment and hard work did not go unnoticed. Due to his exceptional efforts, Aadil has risen through the ranks to oversee and manage the organization's various programs, ensuring their effective implementation and impact. His leadership has been instrumental in driving the organization’s mission forward, focusing on inclusivity and community development.

In addition to his hands-on experience, Aadil has continuously pursued academic growth, further strengthening his expertise in the field. His dedication to both professional and personal development has made him a highly competent and respected figure in the sector.


Mukhtar Ahmad Gilkar
Secretary

Mukhtar is one of the prominent members of Humanity Welfare Organisation Helpline Bijbehara and has been a key contributor since its inception. While working in the pharmaceutical industry, Mukhtar has consistently dedicated his time and efforts to the organization, volunteering to reach out to disabled, destitute, and marginalized individuals in the community.

His passion for humanitarian work and his deep commitment to serving the most vulnerable members of society have made him a vital part of the organization’s journey. Mukhtar's hands-on involvement in various initiatives, alongside his professional career, has helped the organization expand its reach and impact over the years.


Zaika Manzoor
Member

Zakiya is facing Visual Disability by birth, currently pursuing her Master's in History from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). She is a graduate of Delhi University, where she completed her bachelor's degree with distinction, showcasing her dedication to academics and overcoming challenges.

Despite her visual disability, Zakiya has consistently excelled in her studies and continues to break barriers in the field of education. Her journey is a testament to her resilience, ambition, and commitment to making a mark in her chosen field of history. Zakiya’s advocacy for accessibility and inclusion in education further fuels her drive to empower others facing similar challenges.


Fozia Nazir
Member

Fozia is a dedicated and experienced Professional Social Worker with over 10 years of expertise working with children and adolescents. Throughout her career, she has worked with several national and international NGOs, contributing to projects aimed at improving the lives of young individuals and vulnerable communities.

Her passion for social service is evident in the meaningful work she has undertaken, consistently advocating for the well-being, rights, and development of children. Fozia’s extensive experience has equipped her with a deep understanding of the challenges facing at-risk populations, and she continues to employ her knowledge and skills to create impactful solutions. Her pursuit of higher education while navigating and addressing the unique needs of a person with visual impairment serves as an inspiration to those around her.


Sujahat Farhan
Member

Sujahat Farhan is a dedicated and experienced Social Worker, holding a Master's in Social Work from Kashmir University. With a deep-rooted passion for child welfare, Sujahat has focused much of his career on child-centric issues, working tirelessly to ensure the protection and well-being of children in all circumstances.

His extensive experience includes working with multiple organizations and contributing to several projects aimed at safeguarding vulnerable children. Sujahat has worked with prominent initiatives such as CHILDLINE 1098 and Mission Vatsalya, where he has been instrumental in providing support, advocacy, and services to children in need.

Sujahat’s work is driven by his unwavering commitment to improving the lives of children, ensuring they have access to safety, care, and opportunities for growth. His expertise and passion for social justice continue to guide his efforts as he works towards creating a better and more secure future for every child.

Sujahat's journey reflects his deep-rooted commitment to the values of service to mankind making him a key pillar of the Humanity Welfare Organisation.


Yasir Ahmad Khan
Member

Yasir is a dedicated student and a person with a 100% Visual Disability. He completed his graduation from Delhi University, where he excelled in his studies, proving his resilience and determination. Despite being blind, Yasir has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to his education and his passion for advocating for the rights of persons with disabilities.

Yasir’s passion lies not only in his personal academic journey but also in advocating for the rights and welfare of Persons with Disabilities. His interests are deeply rooted in serving the disability community, working towards greater inclusion, accessibility, and social change. With a strong desire to raise awareness and eliminate stigmas surrounding disability, Yasir strives to be an active voice for those whose challenges often go unrecognized.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Yasir is involved in various initiatives aimed at promoting disability rights and social equity. His ambition is to create more inclusive and accessible environments for Persons with Disabilities, especially in education, employment, and social participation.
