3 Days Workshop for Staff on Disability and Health Care (4th, 5th & 6th September -2012)

3 Days Workshop was organised on Disability and Health for staff of HWOHL in which 63 partcipants partcipated in all three days. 7 resource persons were involved both from Disability sector and Health Care. Miss Shivani Gupta from New Delhi was also involved as a resource person who is a renowed Social Workerin the Field of Disability. Participants got knowledge regarding the rights of differently abled children, different provisions and schemes for the benefit of children with special needs and health care. Over all sensitization of participants regarding rehabilitation initiatives and strategies. Practical exercises were demonstrated to the participants regarding the barriers faced by the persons with disabilities and their redressel mechanism.
