Inaugration of Physiotherapy Centre

On 9th May 2012 Humanity Welfare Organization HELPline established a physical Rehabilitation centre for the welfare / rehabilitation of severe disable persons. 15 wheel chair users and other disable persons were present on the occasion. Deputy commissioner Anantnag Mr. Kifayat Hussain Rizvi was the Chief Guest on the occasion who inaugurated the centre. The severe disable persons interacted one by one with the Deputy Commissioner and narrated their personal and general problems of accessibility, health care, rehabilitation and livelihood generation issues. Mr. Kifayat Hussain Rizvi gave a patient hearing to the grievances of the disable people and assured of immediate action to relieve some problems. He also interacted with the children with special needs in the newly inaugurated rehabilitation centre. Dr Sugra and Dr Saima introduced the Chief guest about the rehabilitation equipments and their utility. Later on writing on the visitor’s register of the organization Mr. Kifayat Hussain Rizvi expressed that "he is fully satisfied with commendable action done by Humanity Welfare Organization Helpline regarding the rehabilitation, education and other Rights of persons with disabilities in the state of J&K especially in district Anantnag”.
